Hiring for Carpenters and Framers for a large mixed use residential and commercial building in Langford, BC

Description:

Wood Frame 6 story apartment building in Langford, BC. They will be doing the framing of the entire building.

Other duties to include:

Wall Framing, Back Framing, Floor Framing,

Window and Door Installation,

Build and Load Components,

building units, party walls, corridors,

temporary staging,

exterior walls.

cutting and measuring lumber for installation

working off ladders

Using nail guns

installing wood trusses

Qualifications:

• 6 months minimum experience construction laborer on commercial sites.

• Fall Pro/Working at Heights – Practical Training Certificates Only

Work Environment

Will be working alongside a team of 10-20 framers

working on multi family residential projects completing wood framing work

site start time is 7 and end time is 5pm 10 hour days

Shift Schedules – 14-7, 21/10 for out of town - 10 hour days

Local Shift Schedules 5-2, 6-1, 14-7, 21,10 - 10 hour days

Lots of overtime available.
