Oracle Principal UX Developer in India

Job Description

We are seeking a UX developer with a proven track record of building visually appealing and highly functional web applications. In this role, you will:

  • Help shape the future of our user interfaces, making them both beautiful and easy to use.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to align visions, define objectives, manage risks, and create functional solutions.

  • Translate visual concepts into functional online experiences.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Possess a background in UX/UI design, with a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and a keen eye for aesthetic detail.

  • Ability to create intuitive and effective user interfaces that enhance user interaction and experience.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include :

  • Design and implement visually appealing, responsive, and user-friendly web interfaces.

  • Implement techniques to reduce page load times and improve the performance of the front-end applications.

  • Commitment to keeping up with industry trends and technologies, continuously enhancing technical skills.

  • Connect the front-end application with back-end services via APIs to create a seamless data flow and functionality.

  • Regularly update and refactor the codebase to improve readability, reduce complexity, and ensure maintainability.

  • Write test cases and perform testing to identify bugs, verify functionality, and ensure the application meets the required specifications.

  • Document the development process, code, and innovations to support team members and ensure continuity of work.

Job Requirements :

  • Advanced Frontend Proficiency: At least five years of experience with open-source JavaScript frameworks, React, HTML, and CSS.

  • Cross-browser Compatibility: Skills in ensuring that applications operate consistently across multiple browsers and platforms.

  • Performance Optimization: Ability to optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability.

  • Version Control/Git: Proficiency in using version control systems.

  • Testing and Debugging: Experience with front-end testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha and tools for debugging and performance testing.

  • User-Centric Mindset: Strong focus on user experience and usability with the ability to create intuitive and functional user interfaces.

  • Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively in a team, understanding agile methodologies and practices like Scrum or Kanban

  • API Integration: Experience with RESTful services and APIs to connect front-end applications with server-side systems
